The first carbon-negative and zero-emissions lodge in Africa.

The Lodge welcomes guests in tented cottages raised above ground on wooden platforms.

Choose from our Luxury or Quadruple Tents, depending on your preference; all tents have en-suite bathrooms.

All guests pay a nightly Conservation Fee as part of their stay to continue the invaluable work of the MWCT in maintaining and protecting the area, its animals and the community.

Communal Areas & Lodge Sustainability

The Lodge also boasts an authentic viewing lounge, dining room, library, conference room, outdoor fireplace and communal café, all for guest use during your stay.

The Club is fully-powered by solar energy and uses photovoltaic panels for electricity and hot water. We recycle all waste and treat grey and black waters with ecological techniques. All kitchens are powered by induction and all Land Rovers are retrofitted with an electric motor. Lithium batteries by Tesvolt guarantee full power during the night, with no need of running a generator.

The carbon negative is achieved through an afforestation program funded by Swiss boarding school, Le Rosey.
